SafeBreach is seeking a Senior Director of Communications and Content to join our marketing team. This is a unique opportunity for a passionate leader to join our energized, rapidly-growing team and have a major impact on how we amplify our brand story and change the market

About You:

You’re a B2B marketing pro and master storyteller; we’re the leader in Breach and Attack Simulation, and we want to continue to share our story. Could we be a perfect match?

As the Senior Director of Communications and Content, you’ll join our marketing team and report to the CMO. You’ll drive strategy and manage the execution of our content, and communications. Working closely with the executive team, you will focus on telling the SafeBreach story through owned and earned channels, including our own blog and resource center in addition to media, analysts, and influencers. You’ll lead a small but mighty team of content freelancers and PR agencies to spread our story far and wide, in a growing category and at a time of huge growth for our business.

The Impact You’ll Make:

  • Drive awareness and demand for SafeBreach via content and communications initiatives
  • Manage our PR agency/strategy, AR strategy, and awards submissions
  • Generate opportunities for coverage and inclusion in reports, lists, etc. by building relationships with media, analysts, and other thought leaders in the security space
  • Work closely with the executive team to evolve the SafeBreach story and disseminate that story to our audience of customers, prospects, employees, and industry influencers
  • Develop an editorial strategy and calendar that includes owned and earned channels, and manage the resources to execute against that strategy
  • Position SafeBreach as the pioneer in BAS by elevating our customers and sharing their wins
  • Help define the future company narrative as our category (and our company) continues to grow and evolve
  • Amplify employee/recruiter marketing initiatives and internal communications 

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in content marketing, communications, or a related field
  • Exceptional storytelling and writing skills (work samples required)
  • Experience working at/for B2B companies (prefer in-house but agency ok)
  • Proven ability to attract and develop talented marketing and communications professionals
  • Demonstrated ability to understand and succinctly communicate the capabilities and benefits of complex security products.
